The first time we met

They didn’t fall in love at first sight. In fact, when they first met—online, almost two decades ago—they were just two kids chatting for fun. No sparks, no promises. Just a quiet, simple connection.

They drifted apart over the years, each walking their own path. But somehow, they never completely let go of one another. Life brought them back together—again and again—until one day… things just clicked.

There was no grand declaration. No movie-scene moment. But what they found was something better—steady, lasting, and real.

He isn’t the type to say sweet things often. But she sees it in how he listens, how he stays calm when things go wrong, how he shows up when it matters most. He’s the quiet to her storm. The solid ground beneath her feet.

Together, they’ve weathered long-distance, career changes, personal loss, family challenges… and two very clingy dogs. And through it all—they kept choosing each other.

Their love isn’t loud or flashy. It’s soft. Patient. Deep. Like coming home.
